Sir Charles Azragar is from the Eastern lands beyond the Dead Marsh. He is somewhat foolhardy for a Dwarf and legends speak of his antics. Regardless of what the legends say about him, he is one of the best melee combatants in the world. One report says that he held off a young adult black dragon in single combat long enough for his allies to escape and get more help. Regardless of the truth of this claim, he was discovered having been captured by a young adult red dragon after he attacked it by himself, convinced of his ability to “defeat the vile creature in honorable combat”.
He serves as Castle Gray Gate’s Knight of the Dawn, and during times of struggle he is called to be the personal bodyguard for the Council of Twelve. In his twenty years of service he has never failed in this duty.
